Evening Grace 7:00 pm - 7:50 pm
A time of quiet worship, healing prayer and gospel reflection.
1st and 3rd Sundays of each month
Grace Presbyterian Church Chapel
Worship Leaders: The Rev. Victor Kim, The Rev. Jean Morris
The Evening Grace Worship services are an opportunity for those who are either unavailable or unable to worship on Sunday mornings. The Evening Grace services are rooted in the Reformed tradition of the Church and will provide prayers for healing and the laying on of hands as well as teaching moments rooted in gospel reflection.
During the service on the first Sunday of the month, we include prayers for healing and the laying on of hands. Prayer for healing is a public act of worship in which the ministry of healing proclaims and offers the wholeness of the gospel of grace to people(body, mind and spirit) and to their communities.
We believe that Jesus Christ, through his life, death and resurrection, brought wholeness to people in mind, body and spirit. We believe that Christ is alive and touches our lives with the transforming love of God.
Healing does not mean ‘cure.’ Prayers for healing open us all areas of our lives - relationship, ideas, emotions, spirit, body, work, nature - to the transforming power of God in Christ.
