MUSIC MINISTRY OF GRACE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
The purpose of the music ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church is to build up the body of Christ by involving people of all ages in a program that glorifies God, edifies the church and reaches out into the community. There are numerous ways for you to become involved.

Crusader Choir

Rehearsal: Sunday 9:45 – 10:20 a.m.
Your children ages 5 – 15 years are invited to join the Crusader Choir. This Crusader Choir is an important component of Grace’s ministry to children. Children discover the joys of praising God through singing by learning hymns and songs of faith and taking part in worship leadership regularly. They have entertained at Heritage Park, Eau Claire Seniors Residence and family nights. They participate in the Christmas pageant and conclude the season with a talent show.

Chancel Choir

Rehearsal: Thursday 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
If you enjoy singing and are high school aged and older you are invited to participate in the chancel choir. The choir’s repertoire encompasses music from the Renaissance to the present day. We lead in worship from September through June, and also present special concerts at Christmas and in the spring.

Tinnitus Handdbell Choir Tinnitus Handbell Choir

Rehearsal: Tuesday 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
If you enjoy bells, Grace Church is fortunate to have a 3 1/2 octave set of White chapel handbells and a 3 octave set of tone chimes. Tinnitus rings regularly in worship and throughout the community. In 2007, they travelled to Palm Springs, and recently hosted the 2008 symposium of the Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers. Contact Lori if you would like to join.

Instrumental Ministry

The joy of sharing music: We are fortunate to have numerous talented instrumentalists in our congregation, and we often supplement their talents with professionals from the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and others. If you play a keyboard, orchestral or band instrument, please contact the music director for opportunities to become involved in the worship life of the church.
